Cancellation policy

Please allow at least 24-hour notice for cancellation to avoid being charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the full session rate. If your therapist is able to re-book the appointment time with another client, the cancellation fee will be waived. If you give less than 2 hours’ notice or no-show, you will be charged the full session rate. Please note, any unforeseen and/or extenuating circumstances will be graciously considered, and fees may be waived. Future appointments cannot be scheduled until your invoice is paid. Thank you for valuing our time.

Late Arrivals

Appointments are carefully planned to accommodate each client. In the spirit of mutual respect, it is requested you arrive on time in order to experience the benefit of the full treatment. Should you arrive late, your session will conclude at the originally scheduled time or at the discretion of your massage therapist, while your appointment fee will remain unchanged.

Sickness policy

To support wellness for you as well as other clients, if you become sick, contagious, and/or having a health crisis it may not be appropriate or even helpful for you to receive a bodywork session at your scheduled time. Check in with your doctor, and please contact me right away to reschedule or discuss if you are unsure.  If you have to cancel less than 24 hours before the session, you will be charged the cancellation fee, or session fee (if less than 2 hours’ notice), unless an exception is granted, only at the discretion of North County Pain Relief Massage. We reserve the right to reschedule you, if you are sick when you arrive.

Refusal of Service

For safety purposes, we reserve the right to refuse or discontinue treatment at any time. Reasons may include, but are not limited to, the following: intoxication, derogatory or bigoted comments, sexual or romantic advances, illness or infectious conditions, contagious or unidentified skin conditions (ex. rashes, warts, mysterious bug bites).

Privacy Policy

Prior to your first appointment, you will be required to complete a New Client Intake form. This form must be updated once a year or any time there are significant changes to your health history (surgery, major illness, etc.). The information you provide on your form and in your file can only be released with your consent or as required by law.

Communication during session

To receive the best session possible, you must communicate your needs, preferences, requests, or feedback to me at any time before, during, or after your session. Tell me right away if you feel unwell, uncomfortable, or distracted at any time during the session so that adjustments can be made. As your therapist, I want your HONEST feedback (positive or negative), and I promise that I do not take offense to it!
